We’re SUPER excited about the double vaccination rates as NSW races towards re-opening and with that getting back in the water soon! The NSW Public Health Order has yet to be finalised and may change down the track so this email assumes the current situation as per the NSW government roadmap.
So, when will term 4 start?
We aim to open on the first Monday after NSW passes the 70% double vaccination target.
Hopefully this will be Monday 11th October so there’s no harm in pencilling in swimming lessons to your calendar!
If the date is later, we will issue a credit.
Need to change your day/time for term 4?
Email us & we will do what we can (with limited availability) no later than Thursday 30 September.
If you have already been in touch, no action required.
Need to cancel term 4?
If you have been in touch already, term 3 fees will be refunded by 24th September, no action required.
New requests for cancellations email usno later than Thursday 30 September.
On vaccination status, “Young children who can’t get a vaccine are protected by the adults around them” – source NSW Health”. So, to protect children attending lessons:
Swim schools are one of the freedoms allowed for the double vaccinated only.
The Duck and Dive Covid policy as always, will be regulated by NSW Health.
Vaccination status and other Covid operational rules will be made known before term starts.
It follows therefore that the carer attending lessons needs to be fully vaccinated so if this can’t be possible, email us so we can prepare your refund ☹.
If there is a medical condition of a swimming carer that prevents vaccination, email us. We are awaiting further guidance from NSW Health on this.
For those of you who are taught by the lovely Saskia:
Saskia will not be returning in term 4 as she is expecting baby no. 2 soon which is very exciting! All the sessions that Saskia teaches will continue as normal except for the Saturday afternoon classes. An email will follow shortly outlining the operational change.
Please reach out should you have any questions no later than Thursday 30 September!
