Specially designed sessions to allow the other carer or grandparent to come and have some fun family swim time! (Artarmon pool only).

A great opportunity to take your own photos too!

AquaPlay is a chance to extend your swim time beyond the regular 30 minute lesson but in a casual, relaxed environment. This is playtime for babies, toddlers and carers so not the usual structure of a class and of course the music will be pumping! You are welcome to take your own photos (strictly no underwater photography allowed). Here’s how it works….

The pool is split into 6 socially distanced sections. Each section easily accommodates a family group of up to 2 adults and 2 children.
– 2 x noodle/mat/fin zones (1 with slide)
– 2 x platform sections
– 2 x inflatable floaty sections
– Each section rotates every few minutes
Total run time 45 minutes

Cost $40 per family
These sessions are specifically to encourage partners and grandparents to be involved.
Each section may be occupied by a maximum of 2 carers, 1 baby and 1 sibling. All must be of the same family.
(Consider whether this small space is appropriate if any of the family group is between 2 and 5).

All usual swimming lesson rules apply regarding nappies

Your ticket is for your family group only.

Your group must be of the same family.

Children must be aged 0-3 years. Learn to swim children aged 3 to 5 who are Duck and Dive clients may attend under strict supervision.
There will be a mix of ages in the pool at any one time. Carers must respect their surroundings, other pool users, be responsible for their child and follow any instructions or requests from Duck and Dive staff. The pace of the sessions is generally calm and relaxed but there will be some splashing from older Ducks practicing their skills and we encourage this!

For parents with young babies, your child will one day be a confident little duck, splashing around confidently! For parents with older babies, remember how anxious you may have been with your little one when they were in the pool for the first time!?

No refunds for cancellations within 24 hours.
50% refund if cancelled outside of 24 hours.
No transfers to another event, you need to re-book and be refunded as above if applicable.
If you cannot attend, your booking may be transferred to another person ONLY if we are advised in advance.

Occasionally the advertised toys/set up needs to change.

Photographs may be taken by the event organiser for social media eg Facebook. In line with Duck and Dive policy, underwater photography is not allowed.
